Do you have the Clerk Index System/Muni-Matrix you would
like converted into your Laserfiche system? We are currently working on this project and would
like to know how many would be interested in moving this data into
Laserfiche. We are considering
creating a sticky note on the related document in Laserfiche that would have
all the index data from Clerk Index System.
In version 7 of Laserfiche, sticky notes are easily searchable and
takes the users directly to the document where it is posted. If you are

DEPARTMENTAL SCANNER OFFERS 99 ONETOUCH DESTINATIONS FOR UNPRECEDENTED
EASE-OF-USE
OneTouch Scanning Rated at 70 ipm for Under $2000 and Includes Kofax
VRS 4.0 PLEASANTON, Ca. – April 5, 2006 – The Xerox DocuMate™
632, announced today, is a new duplex departmental flatbed scanner that scans
70 images per minute (ipm) for double-sided documents and has the ability to
automatically scan documents into searchable PDF files. The DocuMate 632 was designed specifically
for departmental use and incorporates Visioneer OneTouch™ technology for
eliminating multiple steps in sending scanned documents to predetermined
applications or devices. The 8.5” x
14.5” flatbed can handle up to legal-sized documents and is the only scanner
that can be programmed to automatically scan to 99 different destinations and
be customized for each person in the department. “Government regulatory compliance requirements
such as Sarbanes-Oxley are driving the need for easy-to-use, high speed
decentralized scanning at the desktop and departmental level,” said Murray L.
Dennis, president & CEO of Visioneer. “The DocuMate 632 is the first
high-speed departmental scanner that incorporates OneTouch scanning. Any person in the department has the
ability to scan a stack of documents, convert the images into a searchable
PDF file and then email, print or store it with a single touch of a

button.” DocuMate 632 Color Duplex Departmental Scanner The Xerox DocuMate 632 processes
35ppm/70ipm at 200 dpi monochrome and grayscale. It offers an optical
resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi, 48-bit internal color, a hi-speed USB 2.0 interface (USB 1.1
compatible), and a suite of bundled software
applications and utilities. These include TWAIN and ISIS®
certified drivers, Kofax VRS software, ScanSoft® PaperPort
Professional, and ScanSoft OmniPage Pro. The 100-page capacity automatic document
feeder can handle paper and photos from business cards up to legal-sized
documents. Kofax's award-winning VirtualReScan™ software improves image quality and increases overall efficiency
of the scanning process for document management applications. Kofax VRS provides such capabilities as auto exposure, auto cropping and
wide-angle deskew. It also improves
the accuracy of recognition software, thereby reducing the need for manual
correction of problematic intelligent character recognition and/or OCR
